The Sterimar Nasal Hygiene is the natural sea water microspray ideal for cleansing babies’ and children’s noses.
The Sterimar is a physiological solution that contains the same concentration of sodium chloride as the body fluids. The seawater consists properties of marine minerals and trace elements, essential for combating nasal infections.
I will use Sterimar on Harris whenever he gets stuffy or blocked nose especially during cold weathers.
Just one spray to each nostril to reduce the risk of the nasal secretions getting into the back of the throat and causing cough or ENT problems, later.
HOW DO I DO IT?
❤️ I place Harris on his back and turn his head towards me.
🧡 Then I block Harris’ body and arms with mine.
💛 After that, I insert the Sterimar nasal nozzle very gently into the upper nostril and move it vertically upwards.
💚 I hold the Sterimar bottle with my index finger completely over the nozzle.
💙 Then I press the nozzle briefly, allowing the solution to drain, which carries away the secretions.
💡 For nasal hygiene and preventive spray; press briefly
💡For cleansing to remove mucus from a particularly or completely blocked nose; press for several seconds.
💜 Let any excess fluids run out and allow the product to act for a few seconds.
❤️ For Harris, I use nasal aspirator to suck out the remainings in the nostril. You can also wipe with tissue.
🧡 If needed, I turn his head in opposite direction and repeat the procedure in the other nostril.
💛 Lastly, I remove the nozzle from the bottle and clean with soapy water, rinse and wipe.
💚 Do remember to keep it at safe place. Avoid direct sunlight.
Use every three hours, repeating the cleansing procedure until the excess fluid running from the nose is clear and free of mucus.
For daily nasal hygiene, use twice a day during morning and night. The Sterimar spray is crucial for babies because the sneezing reflex is not always sufficient to clear a baby’s blocked nose.
Whenever Harris catches a flu with blocked nose, I will use Sterimar and he will turn happier in no time.
